EU/EEA driving licenses are valid for car rental across the EU/EEA, as well as in Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
Original Driver's License in Latin/Roman Alphabet
Original Driver's Licenses printed in Latin/Roman alphabet (such as English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, etc.) are acceptable for car rental without the need for an International Driving Permit (IDP). Driver's licenses printed in a non-Roman alphabet (such as Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc.) must be accompanied by an International Driving Permit.
All National driving licences in Roman Alphabet and in a credit card format that are subject to the list of contracting parties to the convention on road traffic in Vienna, will be accepted
